Faizullah's Story
Due to maternal negligence, the child sustained severe scald burns after boiling water spilled onto his body. He was first taken to a local hospital and later referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for advanced medical care.
The child, Fayzullah, comes from a financially struggling family. His father is a teacher at a local madrasa in their village and lacks the financial capacity to afford such extensive treatment.
Considering their hardship, United Health Development Programme (UHDP) stepped forward and took full responsibility for the child’s medical expenses and treatment.
After nearly one month of continuous care, treatment, and medical supervision, Fayzullah gradually recovered. By the grace of Allah and the collective support of compassionate donors, he was successfully discharged from the hospital.
This recovery stands as another example of UHDP’s commitment to saving lives and supporting vulnerable families in times of medical crisis.
